Windsurf and Kitecentre in Dahab
Ever since 1999, Harry Nass has stood for high level quality and service.
Having received an honorary award by the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism in 2011 as the best windsurfing and kite centre, we continue to offer our guests the latest equipment, professional training, personal service and support for unlimited fun on the water.
In Dahab, 20 Cabrinha boards and 40 kites are available for you.
Our windsurf and kite station in Dahab is split up into a larger area for windsurfing and a slightly smaller area for kitesurfing. Our facilities at the kite station include a monitored storage area with 10 boxes, a kite room with rental equipment and a classroom with video and training facilities. Our office and a comfortable lazy corner can be found in the front area of our station. Apart from that, landing and launching assistance, compressor and fresh water are available. The launch and landing area is located directly at our centre with an individual access to the kiting lagoon.
Kitesurfing courses
Our wide-range programme with kite surfing courses for all levels, from beginner to advanced, takes place in the kiting lagoon. The lagoon is a tide-dependent area of around 300 x 500m and is perfectly suited for beginner and advanced training. Intermediate kiters, who are not yet able to hold heights, are in safe hands here as well. All our instructors teach in several languages and are VDWS certified. The Vdws is an international training association that stands for compliance with European safety and quality standards.

Foil kiting courses are available and can be booked on request.
Kite Rental and Storage
In lee of the windsurfers in area 2, independent kiters experience endless space. To get there, kiters need to cross the windsurfing lagoon once early in the morning before 9.00 am in order to kitesurf passively in the lee of the windsurfers. Another starting point is the Public Beach next to Centre 2. Kitesurfing in Baby Bay is officially forbidden. see Kitesurf areas Dahab
Due to the off-shore winds we strongly recommend you carry walkie talkies with you for rescue and personal safety reasons – these are included in our rent and our storage fees. Our kite boys are there for you at all times to assist during landing and launching. Compressor as well as fresh water showers and safe storage area are of course available.

Safety first!
For many years now, we are the only centre in Egypt to offer a complimentary radio rescue system. The walkie talkies make it possible for our guests to contact our centre directly and any time. Precise directions enable us to assist and rescue windsurfers and kiters faster and safer. We offer this complimentary radio rescue service at all Harry Nass Centres during our opening hours – see radio rescue service
On windless days our guests are free to use our complimentary SUP boards.
